It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We will be working with locally-grown evergreens and a mix of unexpected textures to make your own winter wreath that will last through the holiday season. Try your hand at making your own piece of seasonal decor - the techniques we’ll cover can be used to create your own seasonal wreaths all year round.

In September we will explore a floral design style that originated from ritual flower offerings at Buddhist alters in Japan - Ikebana. With this ancient style of floral art as our inspiration, we will create our own modern, minimalist arrangements using some special floral mechanics. You will leave class with your own Ikebana-inspired arrangement, and the mechanics and skills to create this style of arrangement on your own at home.

We’ll be going over the fundamentals and mechanics of flower crown making and you will leave class with your own beautiful floral crown and the skills to make your own bloom-filled crown on your own in the future.
